Start with the kind of help you need
For a practical expense or urgent family need, begin with Family Assistance. For a communication tool, explore AAC Device Assistance. For connection with people who understand everyday challenges, visit our Events page for the All Hands Support Circle. Our Get Help hub also includes Arizona resource information.
How can I connect with other parents and caregivers?
AHIAF’s online All Hands Support Circle is listed for the first, third and fifth Tuesdays at 6:00 PM Arizona time. Visit Events and request the current meeting link before attending. You may listen quietly or share your experience. This is peer connection; it does not replace therapy or crisis support.
Local does not mean one office or one eligibility rule
A statewide organization or an online gathering may be useful even when it is not located in your neighborhood. Each program decides its own service area, age range, application process and availability. A place being listed as a resource does not guarantee that it can accept a new participant.
Make the first conversation easier
Before contacting a program, write down the need, your city, any important deadline and the kind of access support required. Ask whether services are offered online or in person, whether an application is required and whether there are costs or a waiting list. Confirm details directly with the organization providing the service.
What AHIAF can do
Our Foundation offers a starting point for practical assistance, trusted resources and community connection. Direct financial or item-based support is subject to current funding and program eligibility. We do not guarantee another provider’s services or approval decisions.
Outside resources for West Valley families
211 Arizona offers a searchable directory and phone referrals for needs such as housing, food and utilities. Encircle Families offers support and resources for parents and caregivers of children with disabilities. These organizations operate separately from AHIAF. Contact each directly about its programs, eligibility and current availability.
Find a starting point
Visit Get Help for our request pathway and resource library, or Events for upcoming community connections. Contact the Foundation before arranging any in-person visit or delivery; a mailing address is not an advertised walk-in service location.
