Autism Family Assistance and Grants in Arizona

When a practical need is affecting your family, you deserve a clear place to begin. All Hands in Autism Foundation reviews requests for family assistance, including rental help, communication access and sensory support. Assistance depends on current programs, funding and individual eligibility.

What can I ask about?

AHIAF has provided AAC devices, rental-assistance grants, emergency-assistance grants and practical items for families. You can ask about communication access, a sensory item, housing stability or another barrier affecting daily life. Past assistance does not establish current funding, available inventory or approval for a new request.

Is assistance available now, and who qualifies?

You can use the secure request form to ask about support. The website does not confirm an available grant amount, device inventory or an open funding round. Adults with autism, parents and caregivers, and partners referring a family may contact us. Our team must confirm the specific program requirements, service area, documentation and available resources before assistance can be offered.

How to begin

Visit our Get Help page and follow the current support-request instructions. Describe what would help, why it matters and any deadline. Use only the documents the form or our team requests. Please do not post financial documents or a child’s personal information in public comments.

What happens next?

We review requests individually and discuss the support that may be available. When a need falls outside our current resources, we may help identify another place to ask. We cannot promise immediate funding or a specific response time.

Do I need a diagnosis before contacting you?

You may reach out for information before or after a formal diagnosis. Documentation requirements vary by program. Ask our team what information is needed for the specific assistance you are considering.

Where else can I look for housing, food or utility help?

211 Arizona is an outside information and referral service that connects people with local and statewide resources. Call 211 or search its directory while your AHIAF request is being reviewed. A referral is separate from an AHIAF grant, and each outside provider determines its own eligibility and availability.
